A New Year of New beginnings we will Never forget

I’m so excited about the New Year 5778 of New Beginnings. 21-22 September will be a time that we as the Body may Never forget. Get Ready!
Number Eight – recognized by both Jews and Christians – ultimately manifests in the everlasting New Beginning found in the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Interesting Facts about the Letter Chet which is the 8th Letter of the Hebrew alphabet.:
-Chet the doorway of Life. The letter can be seen to resemble a doorway where the blood of the lamb was daubed during the first Passover (Exodus 12:7)
-Chet is the Number for New Beginnings, 8 represents grace.
-the covenant of circumcision, occurs on the 8th day of a boy’s life , marking the beginnings of his new life
-there were 8 souls saved during the great flood of Noah
-the Lord reaffirmed His covenant to Abraham 8 times
-David was the 8th son of Jesse
-Sukkot is an 8 day festival that anticipate the Olam Habah- world to come
-Jesus was resurrected on the 1st day of the week, which if we understand the preceding seven days to constitute a complete cycle, is the eighth day
-Forty different people wrote the Scriptures. Forty is a number composed of five (symbolizing grace) times 8 (symbolizing a new beginning). It is therefore only by God’s grace and love that man will someday be given a chance for a new beginning, as promised in the Word of God.
-One method of timekeeping used in Israel was called a ‘watch.’ Watches were time periods in which guards were placed on duty. Although days were initially divided into 6 equal watch periods (Judges 7:19), by the time of the New Testament days were divided into 8 equal parts (Matthew 14:25, Mark 6:48).
NIGHT WATCHES
First watch – Sunset to 9 p.m. Second watch – 9 p.m. to Midnight Third watch – Midnight to 3 a.m. Fourth watch – 3 a.m. to Sunrise
DAY WATCHES
First watch – Sunrise to 9 a.m. Second watch – 9 a.m. to Noon Third watch – Noon to 3 p.m. Fourth watch – 3 p.m. to Sunset
-Jesus showed himself alive EIGHT times after his resurrection from the dead. His first appearance alive was to Mary Magdalene (Mark 16:9 – 11). He then showed himself to two disciples traveling to Emmaus (Luke 24). Next, he appeared to all the disciples except Thomas (John 20:19 – 24) then a week later to all them when Thomas was present (John 20:26 – 29). According to the apostle Paul, Christ also was seen by 500 believers at one time (1Corinthians 15:4 – 7). Jesus also met his disciples at the appointed place in Galilee (Matthew 28:16 – 17) and on Galilee’s shores (John 21:1 – 24). His final meeting was on the Mount of Olives, where he gave his followers instructions before ascending to heaven (Acts 1).
Circumcision on the Eighth Day is a supernatural typological prophecy of the renewal that comes through entrance into God’s Covenant, which manifests as Baptism in the New Testament, and ultimately as a symbol of the everlasting life given through the resurrection of Christ.
Baptism is the Sign of the Covenant in the New Covenant. Like Circumcision, it involves a “cutting off” of the flesh – only now it is a symbol of being crucified with Christ, “buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6.4). God reveals the connection with the Number 8 in 1 Peter 3:18:
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
In God’s calendar, every month has prophetic significance. Elul is the last month of the Hebrew year. This can be kind of confusing if you don’t know there are two different cycles in the Biblical calendar. Without going into all the details, within the Hebrew calendar there is a Cycle of Blessing and a Cycle of Redemption. One new year cycle begins with the month of Tishrei and another new year cycle begins with the month of Nissan.
Much can be said about Elul, but this sums it up well – Elul is the month of God’s favor.
Our world is in a season of political hostilities, unstable weather, global threats, nuclear weapons, racism, terrorism…it seems like some have just lost the Way focusing upon the cares of the world. But, running parallel with that is a new movement in the earth filled with the power of God’s Glory. It can be recognized by different names. The common denominator is triumph, harvest, prosperity and wealth, success, righteousness, justice, healing, deliverance, salvation, joy and peace. The Kingdom of God is coming to the earth!
We are the ecclesia called to create a tipping point, a window for access into a 3rd heaven dimension that we haven’t fully manifested yet…but we are close! Well, I know we’re closer than we were yesterday…
The ecclesia is mentioned in Matthew 16. “And upon this rock I will build My ecclesia and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. And I will give to My ecclesia the keys of the kingdom and whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Back in those times whenever it was needed, they would call for citizens to come and be seated in a governing ecclesia. The ecclesia would determine the laws for a region. They could call an army together if necessary. They chose the judges. They ruled at the gates to determine what went in and what came out. They decided what was right for a region.
Let me say this – 5777 is the year of Ayin/Zayin – the year of the crowned vav. Crown means to bring to a triumphant conclusion. The new year, 5778, begins September 21. I truly believe this year, 5777 will end with a SHOUT.
DECLARATIONS:
I declare Mercy triumphs over judgment.
I declare exploits beyond understanding.
I declare the gates of hell will not prevail.
I declare prophetic destiny is unlocked.
I declare this is my finest hour.
I declare divine access into a new place.
I declare the fullness of God’s blessing.
Crystal and I close out this incredible year of 5777 with this:
You are complete, lacking nothing and everything is in proper order.
You are confident, full of truth and grace, creative and you have set your face like flint.
You will Not be confounded, Nor ashamed.
You are taking back your personal power.
You are prosperous: body, soul and spirit.
You are in position to receive your inheritance.
“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.”
Apostle Bryan and Crystal Burt
