i was touched by the Holy Spirit at the young age of 8, but i didn’t truly become born again until 43, I met Jesus on 03 Feb 2014. This day was truly remarkable and i’ve never been the same since. You could say i personally experienced Colosians 1:13.
Colossians 1:13 He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom realm of his beloved Son.
This was my eyes being opened to a spiritual realm that i never believed existed and from that day… i’ve been on an amazing journey. That journey is full of joy, peace, love, hope, rejection, objections, and much patience. Read Ephesians 1.
Becoming born again brings regeneration and you become a ‘potential’ fountain of Life for all those around you… Imagine a well in a desert, wells in the old and New Testament are Vital and Life giving to all those who drink from them. A well transforms the landscape for many miles surrounding that life giving water. The more flow the more life. Christ is now in you when born again, the Hope of Glory. In short, Glory is all that God is and this Glory is His His Presence resting upon a person in intimate relationship with His Son Jesus. This Glory is the atmosphere of heaven in the earth realm and allows the Holy Spirit to move freely wherever this citizen goes. i have personally been honored to steward this Glory in my home for the last seven years and this has been by Grace alone. The things my eyes have seen has brought me and family great joy… along with suffering. Suffering because we have seen so many get touched and then never allow the Holy Spirit to fill them to overFlowing. Through all of this, my main purpose is to honor the Presence of the Holy Spirit, Jesus and of course my father in Heaven.
John 14
23 Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.
Remember, obey can be thought of as, cling. Come on, what baby girl doesn’t cling to her daddy or what son doesn’t love to lay his head on his momma’s chest.
Father loves to be with His family. All that the world truly needs, is now in the one, who’s born again from High and of course each one of these anointed ones have a sphere of influence. You could even say territory that Heaven has given them to plant Life and sow more Life. What man sows he will reap. This principle works for saved and unsaved. (Read about the Parable of the Vineyard Matthew 21:33-46)
Each citizen of Heaven is given a measure of faith and grace to operate and steward this little garden of theirs which our Heavenly Father wants to grow into a great vineyard. As we know vineyards make wine and of course Jesus’ is the New Wine. This heavenly wine makes you so much more merry and never leaves us with a bad hangover.
the big but…
but the Flow or the Rivers of Life only come from sanctification. Set apart… What measure of your life you surrender weighs heavily on how much of Heaven’s culture comes forth into a dark world full of pain. This is why scripture says it’s better to not marry because your desires are divided. Father is not against us getting married, but as we know… relationships bring more responsibility and we must rely more heavily upon Christ to help us. Dependance is a tricky word and we must be fully aware of what we depend upon to get through this life. Before we are born again, we are very independent or let’s say we have a desire to get out from underneath any form of authority, what many consider freedom. That freedom comes at a price. As you know, when we leave the nest, life can get a little tougher than we could have imagined. This of course is different for each individual.
For me, i wish, i would have accepted the Price Christ paid for my freedom first. In Christ, i am truly free indeed. So i truly never become independent, but dependent upon the Holy Spirit. This obviously takes time with Him.
Back to this fountain of Life, We must be filled with His Spirit and then overflow into the lives of all those around them. We remain filled by abiding in His Presence, focusing our heart towards Christ (Hebrew 12:2) throughout our daily live.
The born again one must learn to CLING to Christ as he walks in a world their in, but not of now. Dual Citizenship is very complicated unless that person learns to depend upon the Holy Spirit and not the ways of man.
Dual citizenship — or dual nationality — means being a citizen of two countries simultaneously and sharing the rights and responsibilities of the citizens in each country. That’s why the scriptures call us an Ambassador of Heaven. Study the power of an Ambassador.
John 3:1-3 The New Birth
Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (member of the Sanhedrin) among the Jews, 2 who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs [these wonders, these attesting miracles] that You do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.”
Culture pulls on this person greatly. America’s mainstream culture is blind to the culture of Heaven. Culture is an important word to study, but i’ll leave that to those who are really hungry to meditate upon. Culture is the equivalent to leaven, culture is much like yeast in bread, it can take over your life if you do not resist it through the Spirit of wisdom (Ephesians 1:17-18).
Culture: In microbiology, the propagation of microorganisms in a growth medium. Any body tissue or fluid can be evaluated in the laboratory by using culture techniques to detect and identify infectious processes. Culture techniques can be used to determine sensitivity to antibiotics. Cells may also be grown in culture.
Moving on, i specifically use this Word Cling because many Christians will use the Word obey or obedience (From John 3:36) which is not incorrect and is important, but as we know these words, obedience and many like them can quickly cause many in today’s culture to think dominance, especially in women because of the way men have abused their positions in marriage, business and the world in general. Cling is better suited because for me, for this word projects an image of trust and childlike dependency. For instance, my grandson clings to my side while we do projects or play together. He is watching my every move and listening to my every word without thinking… Grandpa, you are trying to manipulate me into following you… Of Course this little guy doesn’t think like that at all, not until culture and the world forms his mindset. This happens in our youth at a very young age, through education, relationships, entertainment, media and even religion because this world is ruled by a kingdom of darkness. Many do not believe or know that the god of this world is the devil himself.
That’s why scripture says to raise them up in the Ways of the Lord, which is very difficult in today’s current climate. None of this can happen without stewarding the Presence of God. So many buildings today teach and preach the word without the Presence of the Holy Spirit. Many times it’s because they never consecrated themselves fully, not their homes. Their home life lacks the Presence and therefore they do not carry the Presence.
This current culture is affected in their decisions greatly if they are not born again.
2 Corinthians 4:4~ for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the divine image of God.
This information, the god of this age is satan or the knowledge of this is so important because of what the world places worth in, or what the world values. Now when i say world, please understand i could also say atmosphere. The god of this atmosphere, above the dirt is the devil.
What the world counts as valuable is much different then what Father counts as valuable. We as born again one’s can have all these worldly things, but we press into Christ and never allow them to come close to superseding the love we have towards Jesus. Anything someone values, they will in return place emphasis upon and that usually translates to direction. The direction someone goes ultimately brings them to a destination. Our destination is back into the arms of our Father in Heaven by Way of the Holy Spirit and abiding in Christ. Communion for eternity today, not someday far off into the future. Read Ephesians 1.
Also many people today measure their worth on how well they meet cultural expectations. Comparisons destroy relationships always, no exceptions. Our pattern is Jesus, Jesus is perfect theology. You are called to be led by the Holy Spirit and work your own salvation out.
Let us never compare ourselves in this way. Like what do you drive or how big is your house. For instance, i meet people all the time and they ask “what do you do for a living?” Many times i’ll say i pray and minister to Jesus. They look at me like i’m crazy because many do not see the value of that because the fallen world doesn’t place a lot of emphasis on that in their commercials or lifestyles. We see advertisements filled with vacations, food, fun, scenic views and adventure. It’s interesting that the scripture clearly says i am supposed to be an advertisement of Christ. We are supposed to be filled with such peace that we are walking vacations to all those around us, we never have to travel anywhere to find serenity and adventure because we are full of joy right where we stand. Not that i am against being very wealthy, but it is not a sign of favor, blessing or promises in your life. Just like poverty isn’t a sign of self control or resistance to an evil world. Poverty is a demon, in my understanding. Jesus came for life and life more abundant and that abundance no matter how small must be managed well to expand the Kingdom of Yahweh.
Ephesians 1:19 TPT
I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you!
The very first thing Jesus teaches us is to change the way we think. Jesus picked up, right where John the Baptist left off. Repent for the Kingdom of God is here! Not coming, but Here. Many are poor because they are waiting to get to heaven one day. This thinking steals your inheritance on earth and destroys your influence in your walk. Ask yourself this! You come across someone who says, i live for Christ and they live in a cave and don’t even have the money to shower daily. That is not very good advertising.
The way a person thinks guides their entire being, determines their thoughts and ultimately influences their choices. That also controls how they see because speech projects images. This all comes down to what influences us to make our choices. Leadership can sometimes be defined as having the influence to make others make certain decisions by inspiring them through example. Our choices in this life become our life and how we think or let’s say what we think about is important because that becomes our Master.
2 Peter 2:19
They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.
I want to be mastered or enslaved by Love, Hope, Peace and Joy, that brings abundance to all those around me. Choices bring death or life to all those around them.
All this may seem strange to many people, but now someone who has become reborn is truly a very different creation than when they were born from their mother’s womb. Listen to how Jesus told Nicodemus, a very prominent religious leader in his time;
Jesus answered, “Nicodemus, listen to this eternal truth: Before a person can even perceive God’s kingdom, they must first experience a rebirth.”
Nicodemus said, “Rebirth? How can a gray-headed man be reborn? It’s impossible for anyone to go back into the womb a second time and be reborn!”
Jesus answered, “I speak an eternal truth: Unless you are born of water[c] and the Spirit, you will never enter God’s kingdom.
For the natural realm only gives birth to things that are natural, but the spiritual realm gives birth to supernatural life!
“You shouldn’t be amazed by my statement, ‘You all must be born from above!’
For the Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is the same with those who are Spirit-born!”
Jesus said something very important to Nicodemus… Jesus mentioned something that is in all mankind, eternal Truth. This opens the heart of all humanity. Our Father placed Truth within all mankind in the beginning.
God Set Eternity in the Heart of Mankind
Ecclesiastes 3:11~He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
This is why Peter said to honor all men. Let us allow this to set upon our hearts today until we walk in such peace that we become a promised fulfilled in the earth today.
Matthew 5:8-11
8 “What bliss you experience when your heart is pure![a] For then your eyes will open to see more and more of God.
9 “How joyful you are when you make peace! For then you will be recognized as a true child of God.
10 “How enriched you are when persecuted for doing what is right! For then you experience the realm of heaven’s kingdom.
11 “How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me!
You can see Him today. Believe me.
To be continued…
