And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Bright Intercessory Prayer was established in April of 2016, as God intended it to be. As a church we have been gathering together every Friday evening since June 2015, for worship, prayer and ministering.

Apostle Bryan has been walking with God in Intercessory since October 2014, after being baptized in the Holy Spirit in February 2014 and firmly stands on James 5:16… The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much.

VALUES WE CHERISH

THE PRESENCE

We are a Presence based church. Worship at Bright Intercessory Prayer is no in-and-out affair but lasts as long as it takes to break into the real presence of God. It’s not a formula, it’s not a program and it’s not a performance, but rather a Spirit-led small group commitment. We enjoy all music as long as the Holy Spirit enjoys it also… How do you know Holy Spirit enjoys the music?  He moves with the sound… the flow.

GOD FREE TO MOVE

Jesus is “out of the box”. Leadership must sometimes simply flow with the direction His Spirit has taken. His Glory is what we seek… His Face. People weep, laugh, kneel and sometimes fall or shake under the touch of the Holy Spirit’s hand. There is no hype. We seek only the genuine Presence of God. This generation hungers and needs genuine encounters with the power and love of God. Words without His Presence will not do.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS

We value all the gifts of the Spirit. These are God’s enabling power tools for delivering the Father’s love and making it effective. Our focus, however, is not on spiritual gifts or supernatrual experiences, but on intimacy with Jesus from whom those gifts flow. They’re His, not ours, given for the benefit of others.  Pray in your most Holy Faith.

CULTURE OF HONOR

Honor all men and women as it is written is our motto…. We seek to treat everyone who comes to us with honor, respect and dignity, no matter their condition, past or present sins and failures, station in life or appearance. Relational love stands at the heart of the kingdom of God.

CULTURE OF HEALING

We seek create an atmosphere of such love and acceptance fed by the Presence of God that lives are restored and changed just by being part of it. We also work diligently at a variety of ministries for healing hearts, emotions and live, physical bodies and our spirits as well.

REVIVAL

We want to see the Spirit of God released in power on this earth and in our midst. We long to see hearts awakened to His touch and the culture of the world around us impacted by the Spirit of God poured out through us. We want to see people brought to Jesus and saved by move of His Spirit.

PEOPLE FIRST

Jesus First, but we also seek to put the needs of people before all else. The church is made up of the people rather than the people serving an institution.

Jesus is the Only Good Shepherd and we do our best allowing Him to work through us as pastors and ministers. Identity is critical Today… we are sons and daughters of the Most High King.

PASTORING

We pastor rather than govern. We reject domination and control in any form. We pastor problems, we don’t control behavior. For where the Spirit of the Lord is… there is liberty, but also divine Order.

YOUNG AND OLD

We value the young and the old together, believing that church can never reach its full glory unless the generations stand united. Malachi 4:5-6, the hearts of the fathers restored to the children and the children to the fathers.

Statement of Faith

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Romans 8:29)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

The Holy Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Peter 1:21).

In the triune Godhead as eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).

In the deity of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His present Priestly ministry (1 Corinthians 15:1-8).

That man was created good and upright. However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Romans 5:12-19).

In salvation only through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:14-28).

In evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor (Mark 16:15-18).

In the keeping power of God (Jude 24).

In the sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as God’s design for the church, which is the Bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25-27).

In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in gifts of the Spirit and ministries and in His fruit in the life of the believer (Acts 2:4, Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:8-11, Galatians 5:22-23).

That divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement (Isaiah 53:4-6, 1 Peter 2:24).

In Christ’s imminent personal return to earth in power and great glory, in His present and everlasting dominion (Acts 1:11, Daniel 7:14).

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and that they are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment (John 5:28-29).

That the ordinances of Baptism by immersion in water and the Lord’s Supper should be regularly practiced in the local church (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

That it is the duty and privilege of every believer, within his or her ability, to support the local church with his or her regular presence, giving and service (Hebrews 10:24-25).

That tithing, accompanied by free-will offerings, is God’s ordained method to finance the spreading of the gospel and the needs of the local church (Malachi 3:8-10, 2 Corinthians 8:1-5).

That sexual purity is a necessary expression for all God’s children and requires abstinence from adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, or other sexual relationships or practices forbidden by Scripture (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 20:10-21; 1 Corinthians 6:18; Ephesians 5;3).

That marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and is a sacred institution established by God.(Matthew 19:4-5).

In the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death, and that without exception the destruction of any life through abortion, infanticide, murder, euthanasia or assisted suicide is contrary to the will of God (Genesis 2:7, 1 Samuel 2:6, Psalm 139:13, Jeremiah 1:5; Acts 17:25).
